Happy Children's Day 2024!

today is children's day and i have been a terrible dad. no treats for the kids. no surprises.

but before the day closes out, i would like to pay tribute to the two humans in our life that makes the hard times worth getting through and all the grinding worth it!

blessing #1: Izak who will be turning 15 in a few days.

Great kid (touch wood) who gets up early in the morning to study (without any alarm or prodding).... self-taught musician and coffee connoisseur. He's taken to the electric guitar like a fish to water! I'm guessing it must have something to do with late Uncle Benny Gonsalves's blessings via his guitar and his late uncle Clarence Gonsalves.

He's already picked up a few of John Mayer's riffs, Guns'N'Roses Sweet Child of Mine and of course the artists d'jour CAS and Artic Monkey! God bless Izak!

Izabela is shaping up well as well - literally and figuratively

She's doing well in speech and drama & studies. Not happy with the 1st rank though  (i'm not the one pushing her!!) Academics are Priya-Ann Gonsalves Aranjo's department.

She will also be appearing in the live action musical Annie being staged at Good Shepherd Church 4 Bungalows Andheri this sunday. Tickets are just 100 Rs. please come and cheer the little ones. I will be the proud bald guy up front hollering!

So all in all, no complaints! God's good.

Things have been looking up since ive started attending 6:15 am mass. Trust me. start your day with some form of worship whichever god you believe in. Sleeping late is overrated!
