Woah-Men!

Salute to all the ladies on the planet ESPECIALLY those who have withstood the pangs of child birth!

Here's the context:

Late last week after returning from a restful trip out of the city, my wife Priya and I were discussing which show of Mission Impossible to go see. The time 6pm to be precise.

7pm we were at Church for the evening service (where i started to feel the urge to urinate) but nothing much was coming out. ALL sorts of crazy possibilities started to cross my mind.

8 pm the pain grew unbearable and we had to make a dash for the Emergency Room.

The team quickly inserted a catheteter and drained my bladder, but the pain while passing urine continued. I then turned to Priya-Ann and said "I now know what you guys go through during child birth and i salute you" Her response was quick and terse "No you dont. This isnt even close" Priya-Ann is the mother of my 2 beautiful kids and chose to deliver the natural way. So i just shut my penis and continued to groan it out.

Whether its child birth or just period cramps, we men CANNOT comprehend the pain you ladies endure. So i'm publishing this blog to formally offer my apologies for the loose statement i made and promise NEVER to over simplify what a woman is going through. Now that i'm a father to a young woman as well, whom i am overly protective off, i can only reason that mother nature and the powers that be have given WOAH-men the capacity to endure way more than MEH-N.

Thanks for enduring the pain and US. You'll do it with so much grace and aplomb!
