When the numbers add up!

4 years to the day I underwent a craniotomy to remove a 5.8 cms meningioma.

The tattoo on my left forearm will NEVER let me forget the significance of that date as well (thanks big sis for alerting us to the fact!) Pri and I couldn't resist getting it tattooed!

To add even more gravitas to the date, it was the date of my insurance policy renewal. Thanks to my astute insurance agent we managed to get a reimbursement of over 90% from the insurance company!

I sent my doctor, Dr. Harshad Parekh a thank you message this morning for his expertise and fortitude through the entire process and told him I didn’t know of any way to repay him other than through my prayers for his health and well being! He replied with a modest thank you and asked me if I would post a google review and on the Nanavati site.

I will do the google review before the clock strikes 12, as for the Nanavati review, since I couldn’t find a reviews section, I posted in the doctors appointment sections and immediately received a call back ;) let’s see if that review goes up.

4 years ago post operation I wrote a 12 page testimony and shared it with friends and family. I thought of sharing it on my blog today but Pri advised me against it ( which in retrospect was a good decision) those who needed to know, know. If you would like a copy pls drop me a line and I will share it with you.

That’s it then. Signing off for now - grateful for the gift of life & family! I have seriously come to learn how fragile life is and therefore how we should try and make the best of it!
